Media Reflection #2

Media Reflection Prior to being in this course, I had never really needed to set up or make a scene or use any professional camera skills. I would say I am pretty decent at taking pictures for my friends, but professionally, no. I have done some editing on photos not of people or anything, more like editing for school Instagram pages. My skills have changed a little bit throughout this course. I know more about how angle and lighting affect the overall look and feel of the photo, otherwise known as mise en scène. Obviously my skills will need to develop further to pass this exam or help create my opening sequence for next semester. I need to develop my skills further in identifying  the empty spaces in images I take and the placement, lighting, and angle to make sure it conveys the prompt I may be using. I think my skills have developed pretty well for the short amount of time I have been in this course. Now, filmmaking-wise, I have nothing. I have little to no experience with film...

Photo prompt: offense on school grounds    1. In a few sentences, describe what you will photograph to respond to your photo prompt. (Note: Your photograph should have a human subject.) Also briefly discuss the overall look/feel/mood you are attempting.  The person will be standing outside the principal's office (the door that says the principal's name and title) with a look of horror and a referral paper in hand.     2.  Create a hand-drawn version of your intended photograph. This must be shown to Reynolds by either Monday or Tuesday next week (9/30 or 10/1). Your photo should not be taken before your rough sketch is made.      3.
