Editing update blog post


Postproduction is going pretty smoothly; we are pretty much done. We need to fix a couple title scenes and change the font. One thing we do need to fix/add is the audio to the entire video. Other than that, editing is all done. Finishing touches are being added in. I think the video has come out pretty well, and we have completed it in a timely manner, if not early. I hope the final product is up to standards, if not above standards! My team has been working hard to get this done while balancing our lives.

What movie I would like to make

 So far in this class, I'm thinking of either making a rom-com or a horror movie. Both seem kind of fun to create, and I would enjoy the creative process of making a movie like that. With horror movies, there are so many ways you can go about that along with the storyline. But with rom-coms, there are also a ton of storylines of people finding love, which could be fun. And creating outfits for the characters would be a fun process. The issue is figuring out who would be willing to act in something like that. Either seems fun to create a storyline for or film, but I'm leaning towards horror. Horror could also be fun with makeup and maybe special effects.

The genre I selected is crime/murder mystery. The crime/murder mystery genre has been a staple of cinema since the early 20th century, evolving from literary detective stories and film noir into its category that includes psychological thrillers, dramas, and neo-noir films.
